Silopi Vocational High School, on 05.05.2011, affiliated to Şırnak University; 1 Program, 74 Students and 4 Academic Staff with 3 Administrative Staff. Since its establishment, the number of day-to-day, student and teaching staff has been continuously increasing and continuing education and training as a graduate, self-sacrificing and determined Vocational School in line with Vision, Mission and Basic Objectives of Şırnak University.

Admission Requirements
|
To be graduated from secondary education institutions and to be competent in Higher Education Transition Examination. The Department of Marketing and Foreign Trade accepts students in the form of YGS-6 points.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Those who successfully complete two-year undergraduate education can register for a four-year undergraduate program suitable for their field if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS). In addition, they may continue their studies at the undergraduate level by enrolling in the third year of the Open Education Faculty without examination

Graduation Requirements
|
In order to complete the program successfully, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS credits), to obtain a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the 30-day summer internship

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates can work as managers or specialists in a wide range of institutions operating in the foreign trade and finance sectors (banks, import, export and finance departments, international logistics firms, brokerage houses, insurance companies, etc.). Our associates can also be employed by the relevant public institutions (Ministry of Economy, Customs and Trade Ministry, Capital Markets Board, etc.). However, graduates can become a deputy customs advisor.

Assessment and Grading
Students are required to take midterm, midterm (project, seminar, quiz, homework, or second midterm) and final exam for each course.
Semester / year evaluation for any course may consist of homework, practice and other studies provided that there is at least one midterm exam. Each course is evaluated; the contribution rates of the midterm, homework, practice and other studies in which the students are responsible are taken into consideration.
Success grade; year / year evaluation and the semester / final exam grades. The contribution to the achievement grade of the semester / final exam is determined by units to be at least 40% and at most 60%.
The instructors / officers in charge of the relevant board or related board determine the contributions to the achievement grade of the studies that will constitute the semester / year evaluation. The contribution of the midterm / exams determined in the semester / year evaluation to the achievement grade is at least 20%.
If the student fails to take the final exam and / or if he / she completes the semester / year, or if he / she takes less than 50 out of 100 points, then the student will be deemed unsuccessful.
Students who take one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) are considered successful.
To enter the semester / year-end and if any make-up exams from a dersten or practice; the student must have continued at least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the applied courses. The attendance of the students is monitored by the relevant instructor
